Levant for Empowerment and Capacity Building is a local civil society organization working to strengthen social cohesion and the capacities of individuals and local groups. It believes that sustainable change begins within communities and is built on trust, participation and meaningful collaboration.

To empower individuals, teams, and local initiatives, strengthen their capacities, foster trust and collaboration within communities, and create opportunities for learning, work and participation through programs that respond to real needs and support sustainable local solutions.
Levant follows an approach that begins with understanding local needs, then building capacities and creating opportunities for collaboration and practical application, leading to support for local initiatives and sustainable impact. Trust is not built through slogans, but through real experiences of working together and achieving results that communities can feel.

Eng. Silva Ismael A leadership, training, capacity-building, and community development specialist with over 15 years of experience in training program design and initiative development. I am passionate about strengthening social cohesion, combating hate speech, and promoting dialogue, civic participation, and peaceful coexistence. My initiatives include Share Your Country, The Leader Teacher, and Disaster Management. At Levant for Empowerment and Capacity Building, I launched the Initiatives Bank to transform promising ideas into initiatives and projects with sustainable community impact. I believe that empowering people, building meaningful partnerships, and fostering a culture of diversity and mutual respect are essential to creating more cohesive and peaceful societies.
